Another of his brothers was also arrested today.
Mohamed M. was born in 2003 in Russia and arrived in France in 2008.
In 2021 he requested political asylum but his request was not accepted. But because he had entered France before the age of 13 he could not be deported under French law.
The high school of Aras is already visited by the French president Emmanuel Macron accompanied by the government representative and the French interior minister.
The police authorities, finding that many photos and videos of the attack are already circulating on the Internet, they asked the citizens to stop their traffic immediately “to facilitate the work of the authorities but also out of respect for the victims”.
