One French navy ship to bring supplies to Gaza hospitals ‘soon’said Emmanuel Macron.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo, the French leader called for unhindered humanitarian aid to enter the Palestinian enclave.

He also said it was essential to refuel health facilities, many of which he has warned are on the brink of collapse.

A plane is expected to arrive in Egypt with essential supplies, he added.

Meanwhile, Mr al-Sisi said he had agreed to visit Macron to work to contain the crisis in Gaza, bring in aid and seek to prevent other parties from entering the conflict.

He said Macron understood that any movement of Palestinians from Gaza to Egyptian soil would be “extremely dangerous”.

“We condemn all actions that affect all civilians and this must be met with a standard,” he added.
