The Israeli Armed Forces today announced “regular, localized ceasefires for humanitarian aid to the citizens of Gaza”, but not a full ceasefire.

In a post on X, the IDF said “these regular pauses are limited in time and area,” without giving details of how they are being implemented, to inform civilians using the “humanitarian corridor” to the south, which opens on the last days from 10 am to 2 pm.

“The war is against Hamas, not the people of Gaza,” the caption reads.

However, the Israeli army communicates with the residents of the Gaza Strip by dropping leaflets and through telephone calls.

On Wednesday, according to the BBC, the Israeli army had announced a four-hour ceasefire in three central neighborhoods in Gaza City.

It is recalled that the G7 yesterday asked for longer “humanitarian pauses” but not a complete ceasefire.
