Serious accusations against major media by member of Knesset, Israel’s lower house of parliament, who claims photographers working for outlets such as the Associated Press and Reuters “actively participated in the massacre” of October 7the day they launched the Hamas members attack them.

Knesset member Danny Danon says in a post on the Hot platformsome photographers “arrived with the terrorists on motorcycles. Some even brought weapons for the terrorists’ and ‘participated in the crimes’.

“We will hunt them down together with the terrorists” Danon concludes in his post.

Danon writes in detail: “Yesterday a major report was published on the independent news site ‘Honest Reporting’ which revealed a shocking fact. Photographers employed by some of the world’s largest and most prominent media organizations, including AP and Reuters, were actively involved in the massacre of Israel’s southern communities on October 7.

Some of them arrived with the terrorists on motorcycles. Some even brought weapons for the terrorists. While the savages of Hamas were murdering, raping, torturing and brutally abusing our people, the wretched photographers did not stop, did not move away did not leave the scene. Instead, they filmed and participated in the crimes.

We will hunt them down along with the terrorists.

Yesterday the director of the office of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, demanded an explanation from the bureau chiefs of AP, Reuters, CNN and the New York Times regarding the Honest Reporting article.

According to the relevant announcement, “four photographers working for these networks documented the horrors committed by Hamas terrorists after they breached the border fence with Israel. They filmed the killing of civilians, the abuse of bodies and the kidnapping of men and women.”

Reuters’ response

The international news agency Reuters denied any suggestion that knew in advance of the October 7 attack by Hamas targeting Israeli civilians and soldiers, in a statement responding to an HonestReporting article.

“We are aware of the report by HonestReporting and the accusations made against two photographerswho participated in Reuters’ coverage of the October 7 attack.

Reuters flatly denies this that he knew in advance of the attack or that he had integrated his journalists into the ranks of Hamas on 7 October.

Reuters obtained photos from two freelance photographers based in Gaza, who on the morning of October 7 were in the group and with whom he had no previous cooperation.

The pictures published by Reuters were taken two hours after Hamas fired rockets over Israel and more than 45 minutes after Israel announced that gunmen had crossed the border. Reuters reporters were not on the ground at the locations mentioned in the HonestReporting article.”
