Israeli police say they are investigating “multiple cases” of sexual violence by their gunmen Hamas during the October 7 attacks by asserting that he had gathered “a large number of testimonies” about rapes.

“No living victims have come forward to say they were raped,” but “we have many eyewitnesses to a large number of cases,” announced David Katz, head of the electronic crime service of the Lahav unit of the police.

Police, who said the investigation could take “six to eight months,” declined to give a specific number of casualties.

But she gave the press the taped testimony of a survivor of the rave party at Kibbutz Reimwhich describes a gang-rape of a woman who was shot during the attack, mutilated and murdered.

“We have at our disposal a large number of testimonies from members of ZAKA”, the organization dealing with the collection of human remains, who were among the first to arrive at the places of the massacres, the police announced. “We also saw bodies of women without pants or underwear.”
