Entrepreneur Elon Musk landed in Tel Aviv today, as it became known from a journalist who monitors air traffic,.

Israeli leaders want to draw his attention to the fate of hostages held in Gaza and to discuss with him on the rise of anti-Semitism on the Internet.

The office of Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced yesterday, Sunday, that Musk will travel to Israel to meet with the head of state. According to Israeli media, he will also meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. There was no comment from Musk’s office.

Avi Sarf, an aviation expert for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, posted on Musk’s X platform that a plane carrying the billionaire, who also heads the Tesla and SpaceX companies, landed in the morning.

Netanyahu met with Musk on September 18 in California and asked him to strike a balance between protecting freedom of expression and fighting hate speechfollowing weeks of controversy over anti-Semitic content on X.

Musk responded by saying how he is against antisemitism and against anything “promotes hatred and conflict”repeating earlier statements of how X will not promote hate speech.
