The return of the Israeli army to the fighting after the hostage return stage is completed announced the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Since the beginning of the war, I set three goals: eliminating Hamas, returning all our hostages and ensuring that Gaza never again poses a threat to the State of Israel. Those three goals still stand.” Benjamin Netanyahu characteristically stated and continued:
“Last week, we had a very big achievement – the return of dozens of our hostages. A week ago this seemed fantastic but we achieved it. But in recent days I have heard a question: “After this stage of returning our hostages is completed, will Israel return to fighting?” My answer is an unequivocal “yes”” Netanyahu said.
“There is no situation where we will not return to the race until the end. This is my policy. The entire security office is behind it. The whole government is behind it. The soldiers are behind. The world is behind it – that’s exactly what we’re going to do.” concluded the prime minister of Israel
