Lebanese sources announced the death of a Hezbollah leader from an Israeli strike inside Lebanese territory. His vehicle was hit by a missile and burst into flames in the south of the country.

Lebanese sources report that the victim was a commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan special forceadmitting it was a “painful” blow.

It’s about him Wisham Al Taweel, the deputy head of the Radwan unit. They say he and another Hezbollah member were killed when their car was hit in an attack in the Lebanese village of Majdal Selm.

“This is a very painful one hit,” one of the country’s security sources told Reuters. Another warned for ignition in the area.

The commander “had a leadership role in managing Hezbollah’s operations in the south,” a security official told AFP on condition of anonymity for security reasons, adding that he was “killed in an Israeli raid targeting his car in the south.”

So far, the Israeli authorities have not have made no comment on the attack.
