Found dead by the side of a road near Shakhty, Rostov, Russia leading Russian journalist Alexander Rybin.

The 39-year-old is the latest link in a long chain of mysterious deaths of journalists and oligarchs amid Putin’s war against Ukraine.

Raibin was found dead after visiting occupied Mariupol and criticized the Russian president for the delays in rebuilding the war-torn city.

The cause of death was “cardiomyopathy” based on the autopsy, according to Russian state media.

His bank cards and valuables were not taken.

Rybin had fought in Luhansk for Putin from 2014 to 2015 – but was disillusioned by the so-called “Russian Spring”.

He had traveled widely reporting for various Russian media outletsincluding pro-Putin news networks.

On December 30, he told viewers from Mariupol: “There is ‘giant money’ here, there are gigantic opportunities for corruption. My personal impression – I am not accusing anyone of anything… is that there is a gigantic corruption going on in Mariupol, which the Russian army captured with heavy fighting in the spring of 2022.”

“2023, in my opinion, is in no way easier for the residents of Mariupol than 2022, unfortunately.”

The 39-year-old committed to give more revelations, but he did not have time.
