THE Russia has been multiplying bombings in its neighboring country in recent weeks, mainly targeting energy infrastructure, in retaliation for Ukrainian attacks on its border provinces. Today was the third airstrike in the capital in five days.

At the same time, a 65-year-old man was killed by an artillery shell in the village of Vovchansk, in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kyiv explosions were heard shortly after the anti-aircraft warning sounded, around 10:30 local time. “There was a cloud of dust, car windows and shop windows were broken, everything was destroyed,” said a resident of the capital, Oksana, who was at work at the time.
