The president of the USA Joe Biden appeared today Friday on host Howard Stern’s live radio show, where he told family stories, some particularly dramatic.

The interview with Stern took place while Joe Biden was in New York for political events. It was full of details of his life as the Democrat tries to make himself more accessible to voters.

Biden recounted the loss of his first wife in a 1972 car accident along with their one-year-old daughter, as well as the meeting with “first lady” Jill Biden. Stern has repeatedly praised Biden’s family, calling them “amazing,” talking about how Biden’s family members stepped in to help him after the death of his first wife.

Stern returned to the subject of the death of Biden’s first wife later in the interview, in which the president said that he had suicidal tendencies, while he wanted to get drunk despite the fact that he had never drunk alcohol.

“Maybe I’ll just go to the Delaware Bridge and jump off”said the US president thought.

The American head of state also said that the stuttering he had since childhood it was the best thing that happened to him. Biden eventually outgrew him, but the stuttering occasionally returns when he gives public speeches.

Among other things, the US president said that his father, Joseph Robin Biden Sr., was strict but also compassionate, and recounted an incident in which he was knocked down while playing football when he was in the fourth grade.

“My dad… he said, Joe get up. Just pick up… You have to get up,” described.
