The last 24 hours in Italy the news cases of coronavirus is 60,029, while 322 patients lost their lives due to complications of Covid-19. In total, 603,639 diagnostic tests were performed, 9.9% of which were positive.
In the hospital wards of the country, the patients with coronavirus are 13,076, that is 299 less than yesterday Monday. There are 896 in the intensive care units (32 less compared to the previous 24 hours). Since the beginning of the pandemic, 12,554,596 people have been infected with the coronavirus. At this stage, the positive for the virus is 1,291,793.
Overall, in Italy, 10% of ICU beds treat patients with Covid-19, while the corresponding percentage of hospital wards is 20%. In the last seven days, for the first time in many weeks, the admission of minor patients with Covid-19 to Italian hospitals has decreased.
From March 1, travelers arriving in Italy from outside the European Union will be required to present a vaccination certificate, a coronavirus cure certificate or a negative diagnostic test. In other words, the same rules governing arrivals from EU countries will apply.
