After a night of fierce clashes, the American police finally removed the protesters protesting the war in Gaza and the camp they had created outside of UCLA, however, the tension in many universities of the country remains, reminding the student protests against the Vietnam War in the late 1960s and early 1970s;

Some university institutions have reached a compromise with the protesting students:
