After a night of fierce clashes, the American police finally removed the protesters protesting the war in Gaza and the camp they had created outside of UCLA, however, the tension in many universities of the country remains, reminding the student protests against the Vietnam War in the late 1960s and early 1970s;
Most of the camp has now been dismantled and the last protesters and squatters are arrested and removed, with reports to they are talking about 100 arrests.

A smaller demonstration continues just beyond UCLA, so far uneventful, with hundreds of police officers remaining on the scene.
Police surrounded the area before dawnthey removed the makeshift barricades and began dismantling counter-tents.
Several loud bangs were heard in the night, as Clashes broke out between police and protesters

The tension remains
But it is noted that many other campuses in the US are also experiencing conflict between pro-Palestinian protesters and police and dozens of students and professors have been arrested.

Portland State University: The Portland Police Bureau shut down several blocks around the campus as it prepares to clear the protesters
Stony Brook University: 29 students, faculty members and others were arrested at Long Island University according to a local newspaper
University of Wisconsin: Madison police were called in to disperse protesters on Wednesday and announced they had arrested 34 people – four of whom were taken into custody

University of Texas at Dallas: police arrested at least 17 people and cleared a camp

The episodes

The policewho has been steadily increasing her presence outside the university in recent hours, wearing helmets, gas masks and bats in hand they invaded the camp that has been set up after he managed to break through barricades set up by protesters using protective gear, according to CNN. The policemen are transporting the arrested protesters in buses that the police set up in a parking lot just outside the campus.
Some protesters reported that police officers they shoot them with rubber bullets while at the same time flares are fired.
Earlier, the police had warned the protesters to evacuate the campus.
