The “key” witness in the trial of Donald Trump, Stormy Daniels testified before Donald Trump in the criminal trial of the former president of the USA.

As the NYT reports, the porn star had received $130,000 not to speak publicly about the rumors that they wanted her to have sexual contacts with Donald Trump.

Stormy Daniels described to jurors Tuesday her version of the sexual encounter with Donald Trump in 2006, and what followed.

She said she and Trump had met at a golf tournament and later asked for her phone number and invited her to dinner.

She was 27 and he was 60, just a year after marrying his third wife, Melania.

That night, according to Daniels, she arrived at Trump’s hotel suite to find his bodyguard, Keith Schiller, standing outside.

She walked in to find Trump watching TV on the couch in pajamas and slippers.

“Does Mr. Hefner know you stole his clothes?” Daniels attempted to joke, referring to Playboy editor Hugh Hefner.

Daniels claims that after a dinner, he asked her about the porn industry.

He asked her to sign one of her movie DVDs and said she reminded him of his daughter.

He then suggested that she join his show, “The Apprentice”.

The evening ended with them getting together.

Since then they met several times and as she describes he kept promising to have her on his show, but they never got together romantically again.

Daniels received the disputed sum in 2016 from Trump’s then-personal lawyer Michael Cohen in exchange for her silence.

The former president is accused of falsifying business records to cover up the compensation.
