Giada Zanola, 33, is the latest victim of femicide in Italy.
Prosecutors in Brescia, as the press writes, are convinced that her partner, Andrea Favaro, 39 years old, pushed her yesterday morning from a viaduct into a fifteen meter gap. The unfortunate woman died after a few seconds when a truck driver was unable to avoid her and ran over her, fatally injuring her.
Favaro initially tried to convince prosecutors that it was a suicide, showing messages he had sent to the victim’s cell phone to allegedly find out where he was.
The Carabinieri’s investigations, however, established that it was a man who exercised enormous control and limited the partner of him, who had announced to him that she had decided to divorce him.
THE Giada she was the mother of a three-year-old child and had just started working at a gas station, which had increased the attacker’s aggression even more. The thirty-nine-year-old, who fell into a series of contradictions, is accused of intentional homicide.
