Hamas made this statement after today’s release of the Israeli hostages
Hamas said on Saturday it was still holding the largest number of hostages and may increase it, after Israeli forces rescued four hostages held by the Palestinian Islamist group in the central Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had declared that Israel is not backing down on terrorism and that it is working “creatively and bravely” to bring home the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
“We are committed to doing so in the future as well. We will not give up until we complete the mission and bring home all the hostages – alive and dead,” Netanyahu said.
It is noted that during an operation in central Gaza, the Israeli army located and rescued today four hostages held in Gaza, the IDF announced.
The statement reads: “This morning, in a coordinated operation (IDF, ISA and Israel Police) in the Nuseirat area, four Israeli hostages were rescued. They are Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27) and Shlomi Ziv (40), who were kidnapped by the terrorist organization Hamas from the “Nova” music festival on October 7.
