Peskov noted that Macron’s Renaissance Party is losing popularity, which, in his words, is a sign that people are not happy
Moscow believes it is too early to talk about a possible resignation of French President Emmanuel Macron, as parliamentary elections in France have not yet been held, the spokesman for the Russian presidency said Dmitry Peskov.

At this point, we think it’s still too early.”
Peskov noted that Macron’s Renaissance Party is losing popularity, which, in his words, is a sign that the world he is not happy. “We are seeing certain trends… Yes, Macron’s party won half the votes from the right-wing alliance [στις εκλογές για το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο]. Macron’s party is rapidly losing seats, which means the French are disapproving of something,” the Russian official said, according to TASS.
Europe 1 radio station reported earlier, citing a source, that Macron he is thinking of resigning in case the right wins the country’s parliamentary elections. Eliseh’s sources denied the news.
