Russia gives Ukraine a deadline of 15.00 in the afternoon (16.00 Greek time) to respond to the invitation for negotiations on Belarusian territory.
“Until 15.00 we will continue to be here and wait for confirmation from the Ukrainian side for their own decision to start negotiations in Gomel (Belarus),” said the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, as reported by the Russian agency TASS.
Medinsky also said that Moscow guarantees the security of the Ukrainian negotiating mission, in case it starts to reach Gomel, Belarus, where the Russian delegation is already located.

He added that Kiev remained open to dialogue at another point from which no attack was launched on his country.
“Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Istanbul, Baku. We suggested all these cities. “And any other city would suit us,” he said in a video uploaded to the internet.
Zelensky said that last night was violent and that the Russian occupation forces “attacked civilian areas” where there is no military infrastructure. “They are attacking everywhere,” he added.
