Labor appears to be winning 431 seats, taking a commanding 106 seats while the Conservatives are down to just 102 seats, their worst ever performance

Wide self-reliance in Sir Keir Starmer’s Labor Party and a historic defeat for Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives, the latest major polls show of this pre-election period, a few hours before the polls open in the UK parliamentary elections.
The main poll by MRP method, which calculates the result by region, was presented in the late afternoon by the company YouGov on behalf of Sky News.
Labor appear to be winning 431 seats, i.e. autonomy of 106 seats in the House of Commons. The Conservatives are just getting there 102 seats, in their worst performance since the 156 seats in the 1906 election.
The Liberal Democrats are next with 72 MPs, the Scottish National Party (SNP) with 18 and then Reform UK with three seats.
The Focaldata poll gives Labor a 119-seat lead, i.e. 444 MPs, compared to 108 of the Conservatives. The Lib Dems are predicted to have 57 MPs, the SNP 15 and Reform UK two.
Another MRP poll by More In Common gives Labor 430 seats (105 seats independent) with 39% of the vote and the Conservatives 126 seats with 23% of the vote. The third party in number of seats is the Liberal Democrats with 52, followed by the SNP with 16. Reform UK highlights two MPs based on this count.
Meanwhile, support for Keir Starmer declared one day before the election Sun newspaper. It is the first time the popular paper has backed Labor since 2005.
“It’s time for a change“, the newspaper writes in its article, as “eexhausted» Conservatives must spend a period in opposition.
Besides, in an interview on BBC radio, the Minister of Labor and a close associate of Mr. Sunak, Mel Stride, admitted that based on the opinion polls, we are heading towards a “huge sweeping victory» of the Workers.
As the Guardian claims, Rishi Sunak has confided in his close circle of associates that he fears he may lose his headquarters in Richmond and Northallerton. He would become the first sitting Prime Minister in Britain not to be an elected MP.
