The “iconic” as Donald Trump himself called a photo of him with his right hand in a raised fist while bleeding from his ear just minutes after the assassination attempt against him is now being sold on… a t-shirt in China.

The specific photo that has been making the rounds of the world since yesterday on websites, front pages of newspapers and on the website of the former American president is now also available on t-shirts in e-commerce at a cost of just $4

Over the weekend, Chinese retailers jumped on Taobao and JD.com, the country’s two biggest e-commerce platforms, to take advantage of the images released after the assassination attempt against Trump.

“Make America Great Again,” read one T-shirt, “Shooting makes me stronger,” reads another.

T-shirts are being released with various images printed over that moment of the attempted assassination of Trump, including a photo taken by Associated Press photographer Evan Vucci.

In fact, many of the t-shirts have become elusive and some have even become hard to find.

“The Associated Press is proud of Evan Vucci’s photo and recognizes its impact,” said Lauren Easton, AP vice president of corporate communications. “Furthermore, we retain our rights to this powerful image.”

Despite the fact that on the websites it appears that some t-shirts are sold out, some stores provide them hidden links with their merchandise using a Chinese nickname for Trump.

An AP reporter was able to order a T-shirt with a snapshot on it for $8 even though the original link said it was no longer available. A customer service representative said it was in violation of regulations, without elaborating, but then provided a link for the reporter to order the T-shirt.

Searches on the Chinese sites were conducted under the alias Trump Jianguo, Trump’s nickname on the Chinese internet when he was in power.
