The Israeli strikes took place in the town of Adlun, about 40 km north of Lebanon’s border with Israel, and caused powerful explosions
An Israeli raid on a town in south Lebanon late Saturday night hit an ammunition depot, injuring three people, according to the Lebanese News Agency.
“A raid in the town of Adlun targeted an ammunition depot,” the agency said, adding that “rockets are still exploding.”
Earlier, three security sources told Reuters of Israeli strikes hitting a Hezbollah ammunition depot in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli strikes took place in the town of Adlun, about 40 km north of Lebanon’s border with Israel, and caused loud explosions that were heard by eyewitnesses throughout southern Lebanon.
There has been no comment so far from the Israeli military.
The strikes in southern Lebanon come hours after Israeli strikes on Houthi military targets in Yemen’s Hodeidah, an Israeli offensive that Hezbollah says will mark a “new and dangerous phase” in the region.
