Lukashenko: Belarus is developing more forces on the border with Ukraine

Its leader Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said today that he asked the Russian president Vladimir Putin to develop another anti-aircraft S-400 array to the west of Minsk, Reuters reports, citing the Russian agency RIA, which in turn cites another agency, the Belarusian Belta.

This array is needed for the defense of the territory of Belarus, he said Lukashenko.

Earlier, always according to Belta, Lukashenko said that the Belarus develops more forces on its border with Ukraine. “They are well-trained rapid development teams that are ready to stop any provocation and any military action against Belarus,” he said.

According to the Russian news agency RIA, o Lukashenko said that the start of talks between Ukraine and Russia raises hopes that hostilities may end.

The first round of talks held yesterday, Monday, at Belarus did not produce tangible results as the war in Ukraine to be continued.
