Images of hell from last night’s Russian bombing of the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr (northwest) were released by local authorities.
At least four people were killed Anton Gerashenko, an adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, said in a telegram that houses had been hit by houses fired by a Russian Cruz missile that appeared to be targeting an adjacent air base.
According to the official, houses were set on fire near the base of the 95th Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian army in Zhytomyr, 120 kilometers west of the capital, and “so far” the deaths of “four people”, including “one child”, have been confirmed. At least 10 houses have been destroyed and the hospital damaged.
The Russian troops occupied the southern city of Hersonissos, according to the BBC.
