40 minutes late, the two men’s conversation began – Trump’s shots at Harris, Biden and immigrants
With a delay of 40-plus minutes from the scheduled start time of the interview, the debate between the candidate for the president of the USA began Donald Trump and the billionaire Elon Musk.
And that’s because a series of technical problems marked the start of the debate, which was scheduled to be broadcast on Twitter Spaces and finally ended this Tuesday shortly before 6 am after two hours.
Trump’s much anticipated interview with Elon has unsurprisingly crashed. It’s the perfect metaphor for his campaign. 😂 pic.twitter.com/wRYQn42ijk

As he comments on Reutersthe debate covered a wide range of issues with the former US president and Tesla CEO deifying each other and sharing their political views, with Trump launching scathing attacks on both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.
For his part, Elon Musk started the discussion by referring to an attack his network received during the opening of the interview with Donald Trump.
There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on 𝕏. Working on shutting it down.
Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later.

He went on to say that the alleged cyber attack shows that there is resistance in the US to listening to what Trump has to say.
He also noted that the interview will be independent, aimed at helping “voters trying to form an opinion about Donald Trump.”
“In October I will go back to the place where they went to kill me” Trump’s message – Fierce attack on immigrants
Musk then asked Trump about the attempted assassination at a rally in Pennsylvania. Trump laughed and said it was “not pleasant” before talking at length about his experience.
“It was a hard blow. It was very, I guess you could say, surreal, but it wasn’t surreal. I knew right away it was a bullet,” Trump said of the moment he said the bullet hit his ear.
Trump added that his first question after being shot and falling to protect himself was, “How many people were killed?”
He also mentioned the man who was killed in the shooting.
“We lost someone who was a firefighter, a great Trumper,” Trump said of Corey Comperatore, adding:
“He was just a fantastic family and a fantastic person.”
In fact, the former president said he plans to return to Butler, Pennsylvania, in October, where his assassination attempt took place.
In addition, Donald Trump spent the last few minutes complaining about undocumented immigrants, noting:
“Ilon, what is happening is incredible. They come from Africa, from the Congo, and they are killers,” Trump said.
He went on to say that “they are being taken from prisons, taken out and brought to the United States. They leave them in the US and tell them, never come back, because you will be executed.”
This is common rhetoric for the former president, who has made warnings about the danger to immigrants and pledges to crack down on illegal border crossings central to his platform.
Trump repeated his criticism of Kamala Harris on border issues, claiming she was “border czar” and “in charge” of the border — and that she oversaw a surge in unauthorized crossings.
Musk wants position in Trump administration if re-elected – ‘I’d be happy to help cut spending in the country’
Elon Musk has offered to take on a role in Donald Trump’s administration if the former president is re-elected, helping to cut public spending.
“It would be great to have a government efficiency commission to look at these issues and make sure that taxpayers’ money, taxpayers’ hard-earned money, is being spent well,” he said. “I would be happy to assist in such a committee.”
Trump said he would “love it” if Musk joined, noting the billionaire is a “big cutter,” referring to the cost-cutting measures he has taken at his companies.
Trump’s return to Twitter
It is recalled that with a video, in which he invites his subscribers to donate to his campaign before the expected US presidential elections, Donald Trump returned to the “X” platform, formerly Twitter.
Donald Trump has returned to “X” after years of abstinence with his last post being a photo on August 25, 2023, and before that his last post was in 2021.
