A police sniper saved lives when he fired the gun of Donald Trump’s would-be assassin, bringing him down, according to new reports emerging from the ongoing investigation.

According to the report by Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins, the sniper’s bullet destroyed Thomas Matthew Crooks’ gun and prevented him from continuing the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania. A short time later, a Secret Service sniper killed him.

The report comes as the Secret Service is temporarily assigning some bodyguards from President Joe Biden to Trump, according to US media.

Trump will also receive bulletproof glass protection to allow him to continue holding outdoor rallies.

The sniper fired the Trump assassin’s gun first, with a single bullet from about 100 meters away.

It is recalled that Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, attempted to kill former US President Donald Trump during his campaign speech. The would-be assassin was neutralized by Secret Service snipers.
