The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will participate tomorrow, Friday, March 4, 2022, in the extraordinary Meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers that will take place in Brussels, at 10:00 am. The subject of the consultations will be the situation after the Russian attack on Ukraine.
The meeting is also expected to be attended by the Foreign Ministers of Sweden and Finland, Anne Linde and Pekka Haavisto, respectively, as well as the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell.
The Foreign Minister will then take part in the EU Extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council, which will also take place in Brussels at 15:40, to discuss the Russian attack on Ukraine.
An informal exchange of views is also expected during the meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, US Secretary of State Liz Truss and Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly.
