Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallad said on Friday that Israel reserves “more surprises” for Hezbollah, while ground operations in southern Lebanon continue.

“Hezbollah receives very serious blows, one after the other. We eliminated (Hezbollah leader Hassan) Nasrallah and we have more surprises in store, some of which have already taken place and some of which will take place,” he said during a visit to the headquarters of the 36th Division in northern Israel. The division’s troops are operating in southern Lebanon.

(Hezbollah’s) rocket and missile department suffered a very heavy blow. A significant part was destroyed as a result of a high-quality and expensive operation. The command and control headquarters, the communications, the entire leadership of (Radwan Elite Force) and in fact the entire second and third tier of command under Nasrallah were eliminated“, he continued.

“Galand noted that the Israeli army is “conducting an operation today in many settlements (in Lebanon), and this process will continue wherever necessary to destroy all the infrastructure from which Hezbollah was planning to launch attacks.”
