The 11-year-old went with her mother to the City Hall holding her plans. The authorities decided to follow her plan and as a result her dream became a reality
A young girl from Utah, 11-year-old Rosili Olson designed the “perfect playground” and saw her dream come true as she put the school’s civics class into action.
She went with her mother to the City Hall holding her plans, as a new playground was planned to be built in the area. The city officials decided to follow her plan and as a result her dream came true.
“Rosili realized that the playground next to her house was appropriate for ages 5-12 and not for her younger sisters,” Clearfield County officials wrote in the caption of a Facebook video showing the construction process.
“After seeing the initiative and the details we knew we had to make her dream come true.”
Her mother called City Hall and asked if she could present her plans. They agreed and soon found themselves in the department head’s office Eric House (Eric Howes).
“It was in the budget, but we didn’t have the details,” the chief told the local newspaper.Standard-Examiner” and added. “I don’t see that very often in adults to be honest and I was impressed. She saw something she didn’t like and decided, “I want to do something about it.” Not only did she make her own plans to feel better but she made sure her mom came to present them.”
During the work process the Olson and the chief met four or five times, until his ribbon-cutting ceremony Bicentennial Park on September 24.
It’s even better than I imagined,” said the little girl about the new playground, which was already full of children. “She is very beautiful.”
