Lebanon’s Hezbollah said today it had fired “ballistic missiles” at Israel’s army headquarters in Tel Aviv, in the second attack of the day against the Defense Ministry’s facilities in central Israel.
In a statement, the pro-Iranian movement said it targeted “the Hakiriya base (the building of the Ministry of Defense and the headquarters of the Israeli General Staff) in the city of Tel Aviv with ‘Qader 2’ type ballistic missiles.”
Earlier, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the same place with “explosive drones”.
Hezbollah also said it fired “rockets” at an Israeli military installation near Tel Aviv, in the fourth rocket attack on the major city and its suburbs in central Israel.
In its statement it says it fired “missiles” at a facility it targeted “for the first time” and which it identifies as belonging to the “IWI military equipment industries company”, in the “suburbs of Tel Aviv”.
