Following the appointment of Charles Kushner as US ambassador to France, US President-elect Donald Trump announced today that he will appoint another fellow Lebanese-American businessman as adviser to the US presidency on the Middle East. Masad Boulos (left in the photo).

“Massad is a good negotiator and a staunch supporter of PEACE in the Middle East. He will be a staunch defender of the US and its interests,” Trump stressed, as the Middle East flare-up continues with the Israel/Hamas war raging for more than a year.

A longtime Republican, Boulos built his fortune selling cars in Nigeria. The 2022 wedding of Michael Boulos’ son to one of Donald Trump’s daughters, Tiffany, put Massad Boulos in the inner circle of the billionaire president-elect.

He was actively involved in the presidential campaign, trying to convince the Arab community in some crucial American states to vote for Trump.

“Massad is an accomplished lawyer and a highly respected leader in the business world, with extensive experience on the international stage,” Trump said.

A Maronite Christian, Boulos had tried to be elected to parliament in Lebanon, without success.

During the campaign, Trump repeatedly said he would end the war between Israel and Hamas, without ever revealing a plan to do so.

The announcement of Boulou’s appointment comes days after a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
