A terror attack occurred on Friday at 7:04pm local time in Magdeburg, Germany when a car plowed into a crowd at the city’s Christmas market with German media reporting at least eleven people dead and more than 60 injured.

According to the official count, the confirmed dead are two, including a child.

A Police spokesman said the attacker drove at least 400 meters into the crowd, while it is still unclear if he was alone.
