Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made an explicit reference to the Holocaust in a speech to German lawmakers on Thursday.
“Every year, politicians never say it again. Now I see that these words are useless. “In Europe, a people is being destroyed,” he told lawmakers in a video conference with the Bundestag.
The Ukrainian president has clearly criticized the fact that many countries – including Germany – have long been reluctant to impose harsh sanctions on Russia.

In yet another emotionally Zelensky charged speech urged Germany to help destroy a new “Wall” that Russia is building in Europe.
“It is not a Berlin Wall – it is a Wall in Central Europe between freedom and slavery and this Wall is growing with every bomb dropped on Ukraine,” Zelensky told lawmakers.
“Dear Mr. Solts, tear down this Wall,” begged German Chancellor Olaf Soltz, referring to US President Ronald Reagan’s historic phrase to the last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev.
“Look like a leader and your descendants will be proud of you (…) What is the historical responsibility for what happened 80 years ago? “Help us stop the war,” he said.
Mr Zelensky reiterated his request for an energy embargo on Russia and to secure Ukraine’s airspace – which “Russia has turned into a skies of death” – to provide access to humanitarian aid, leaving room for delays and oligarchy from the everything as “economy, economy, economy”.
