The US President Donald Trump postponed telephone contact with Panama President Jose Raul Due to last -minute changes to the US leader’s agenda, the Panama government announced on Friday, amid tensions of US threats to occupy the Panama Canal.

Panama’s Foreign Ministry will share details of the new date after coordinating, the government said.

Moulino accused the US of “lies” after their government claimed that their ships could pass through Panama Canal without paying.

He has also rejected the allegations that China is controlling the channel, a basic shipping road connecting the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean, and has soldiers there.

The channel is controlled and operated since the beginning of the Panama Canal, an autonomous service supervised by the Panama government.

The two leaders were scheduled to speak at 15:30 local time on Friday afternoon.
