The head of Turkish Intelligence Services Ibrahim Kalin had talks in Tehran with his Iranian counterpart to discuss the fight against “terrorist” organizations and the situation in Syria, the Turkish news agency Anadolu said today.

Kalin met with Iranian Information Minister Ismail Hatib, as well as Security Chief Ali Akbar Ahmantian, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Anadolu added yesterday, Saturday night.

They discussed “the fight against terrorist organizations, notably PKK and IK” (Islamic State), as well as “for common threats, for the situation in Syria, the ceasefire in Gaza and developments in relation to the Palestinian case “, Anadolu added.
