Once again the Etna volcano exploded in Italy, the highest volcano in Europe.

On Tuesday, Etna is gushing a lava with the spectacle being particularly impressive and – fortunately – not dangerous.

The small explosion took place in the Bocca Nuova crater and the images are impressive, with the lava flowing on the snowy peak of the volcano.

Volcanologists say that this little explosion is part of the long, “fiery” story of Etna – dating from 425 BC. – making it the most well thought out volcano on Earth.
