The activist was named in 2014 as the youngest Nobel Peace Owner for her battle for girls’ education
The Nobel Prize-winning Nobel Prize in Malala Yusafzai was found today in the province of Hibiera-Pakunkua in northwestern Pakistan, where she was born, before leaving in 2012 for the United Kingdom, following a Taliban attack on her school.
“When I was little, I was spending all my vacation in Sangla playing near the river and eating with my big family,” she wrote in a message in X.
“I feel happy to have returned today, after 13 long years, in the mountains, to put my hands in the cool river, laughing at my favorite cousins. This area is valuable in my heart and I hope to come back here and again, “he added.
The activist, who was named in 2014 the younger Nobel Peace Prize -winning holder for her battle for girls’ training, has visited Pakistan.
Although she has twice visited the Suat Valley, where the Taliban of Pakistan has opened fire on her, it is the first time for 13 years returning to Sangla, where she spent her childhood years before her family settled in Suat.
The hostilities have not stopped in Himpera-Pakunkua after returning to the Taliban power in neighboring Afghanistan in the summer of 2021.
Today, authorities have excluded for hours the area visited by Malala Yusafzai, according to local officials at the French News Agency.
“Her visit was kept secret to avoid any incident,” said a senior AFP official under anonymity.
“Even the locals did not know her arrival,” he added.
The day before its arrival, at least 18 people were killed by an allied Taliban organization against the army in the nearby town of Banu.
“I pray for peace in every corner of this beautiful country. Recent attacks, among other things in Banu, are breaking my heart, “the activist also wrote.
