The details of the criminal activity of a German palliative doctor who is accused of killing 15 patients using a cocktail of deadly drugs are shocked.

Indeed, in order to cover his traces, the 40 -year -old set fire to the homes of some of his alleged victims, according to Berlin prosecutors.

It is allegedly murdered by 12 women and three men between September 2021 and July 2024, although prosecutors have stated that the total number of victims may increase.

He is accused of administering his patients anesthetic and muscle relaxant without knowing or consenting.

The muscle relaxant “paralyzed the respiratory muscles, leading to respiratory opposition and death in a matter of minutes,” the prosecution said in a statement.

The doctor worked in various German states in Germany, and the ages of people whose deaths are considered suspicious ranging from 25 to 94 years.

In addition, he allegedly set fire to the apartments of his alleged victims to cover the murders in five different occasions.

The suspect is accused of killing two patients on the same day in July 2024, a 75 -year -old man in his home in downtown Berlin, and a 76 -year -old woman in a neighboring district “a few hours later”.

Prosecutors said the doctor tried to set fire to the woman’s home, but failed. “When she realized it, she allegedly informed a woman’s relative, saying she was in front of her apartment and that no one was answering the bell,” they added.

Initially, when he was arrested in August 2024, he was suspected of killing four patients under his care, but the investigation revealed other suspicious deaths, and authorities are going to proceed with new exhumations of possible victims.

Authorities are calling for the imposition of a “lifelong professional ban” as well as “preventive detention” for the 40 -year -old suspect, who remains in custody.
