In a post on Facebook and a subsequent interview, Wali confirmed that he is alive and continues the fight against the Russians.
“Rumors that I died in the fight it was completely ridiculous. The truth is that we took the enemy’s territory except that we inflicted losses on him. “Unfortunately we also lost comrades dead and injured,” Wali said.

Speaking to Canada Global News this week, Wali said he was “relaxed” and explained that he was the last person to hear the news that he was dead.
