Sir Surrey Oder, had visited Abdullah Ocalan and conveyed his appeal to PKK’s self -dissolution and disarmament
Died at a hospital in Istanbul where the hospitalized MP of the pro -Kurdish party Equality of peoples and democracy (DEM), Circuitwho in recent months had taken on a mediation role in disarmament of the Kurdish PKK organization.
Sir Surrey Oder was admitted to the hospital 18 days ago with serious cardiological problem and after the surgery in which he was underwent was hospitalized in critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit. Multiple organic deficiency was announced from the hospital as a cause of death.
Sir Surrey Oder, along with the MP of the same party Pervin Buldan, had visited the prisoner on the island of Imrali, Propontis, leader of the Kurdistan Labor Party (PKK), Abdullah Ocalan, and conveyed her self -esteem.
On October 22, last year, the supranationalist leader of the Nationalist Action Party (Mir) and government partner, Devlet Bachseli, had submitted a proposal to release Ocalan, under strictly restrictive terms if he renounced him. Ocalan addressed the PKK disarmament and self -dissolution on February 27, and the PKK declared a ceasefire from March 1st.
However, the leadership of the organization located in northern Iraq has called for a conference to decide to disarm and dismantle it, the liberation of Ocalan and the creation of conditions to work freely.
