Kate, Middleton, the princess of Wales, said that nature was her refuge in the last year, during which she underwent preventive chemotherapy against cancer.

In a video posted to X, with footage by herself and her husband, the successor of the British throne Prince William, as well as images of the British landscape, Kate talked about the importance of that natural world.

“In the last year, nature has been my refuge,” Kate said during the video, released by Mental Health Awareness Week, a very important issue for the couple.

“The ability of the natural world to inspire us, educate us and help us to heal and grow is unlimited and it is understood for generations.”

Nearly a year ago, when Kate, aged 43, announced that she would be subjected to chemotherapy, after examinations she had done after a serious abdomen intervention last January, had revealed that she was suffering from cancer.

The Duchess of Sussex She completed her treatment in September and earlier this year revealed that the disease is in recession.

Last month, Kate and William visited a picturesque island in Scotland to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary, with shots from this visit to the video.

Spring is a season of regeneration, hope and new beginning from the dark days of winter, the outside world wakes up quietly with new life and there is a sense of optimism, expectation and positive, hopeful change“She said.

As nature is rejuvenated and renewed, so can we. Let’s reconnect with nature and celebrate a new dawn in our hearts
