He reiterated that the IDFs will understand all Gaza territories, but noting that Jerusalem should “ensure that there will be no humanitarian crisis” – Evacuation order in 14 neighborhoods in Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his first television profession for five months said that Tel Aviv’s goal is to complete Gaza and the victory over Hamas, adding that the Israeli army has probably killed Hamas.
The Israeli prime minister described the attack on Gaza “an unprecedented operation in the history of wars” and reiterated that Israel’s defense forces (IDF) would occupy all the Gaza territories, but noting that Jerusalem should “not ensure that”.
Israel has a “very organized” plan to achieve its war goals in Gaza, Netanyahu said, adding that the war in Gaza has “a purpose that is clear and justified”. “To defeat Hamas, who committed the atrocities of October 7, to bring back all our hostages and to ensure that Gaza is not a threat to Israel,” he said.
These goals, he argued, are interconnected “and we must fully achieve them”.
Referring to the hostages, he pointed out that the IDFs have returned to Israel 148 hostages, adding that there are 20 confirmed living hostages in Gaza and “up to 38” murdered and promised that “we will bring them back”.
Concerning the IDF plans for Gaza, and in particular for his latest widely operated army in the Palestinian enclave, under the name “The Terms of Gideon”, Netanyahu noted that it was projected to evolve into three stages.
In the first stage, the IDFs will allow Gaza to flow to “prevent a humanitarian crisis”. In the second stage, US companies will open aid delivery points, while in the third stage, the Israeli army will move Gaza citizens to the south to prevent Hamas from penetrating.
“We entered the refugee camps at the same time and crushed them,” Netanyahu boasted during a press conference referring to the camps of Jenin, Tulcarem and Nour Sams. In February, Israel forced the population of these camps to evacuate the site.
The Israeli prime minister, in an attempt to downgrade the accusations of the West for the harsh attack on Gaza, noted that if there is a chance that a temporary ceasefire and exchange of hostage exchanges, Israel is open to discuss it.
Finally, he noted that the army “imposes the truce on Lebanon with a iron fist at all times and that the Israeli army operations in Lebanon have led to the fall of Assad regime in Syria.”
