Christrson told the Swedish news agency TT that the European Union should impose sanctions and exert diplomatic pressure on Israel
The Swedish Foreign Ministry will invite Israeli ambassador to Stockholm to protest the lack of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, Swedish Prime Minister Ulvis Christrson said today.
Last week, under increasing international pressure and criticism, Israeli authorities allowed a “drop” of help to the Palestinian enclave, but hundreds of trucks carried only foods in need of 2 million inhabitants of the lane.
Christrson told the Swedish news agency TT that the European Union should impose sanctions and exert diplomatic pressure on Israel to allow humanitarian aid in Gaza.
“We were extremely clear in this regard, we ourselves and with many other European countries”Christenson told TT, adding that “this pressure is now increasing, undoubtedly, and for very good reasons.”
