Javier Miley assured that Argentina will continue to stand by Israel. He recalled the attacks on the Israeli Embassy and a Jewish Community Foundation in Argentina three decades ago, and that 27 his compatriots were killed during the attack launched by Hamas on October 7, 2023 in Israel.
The Argentinean’s president called for the unconditional release of hostages remaining in the Gaza Strip, including four Argentine nationality.
Hertzog thanked Miley for his solidarity and called him a “true friend of Israel”.
The two presidents announced plans to further expand bilateral cooperation.
