France did not participate in any “defensive operation” of Israel against the Iranian response as “it was not asked”, French President Emmanuel Macron said today, while rejecting the idea that Russia would play a mediation role in Israel.

French forces had made April 2024 in “intercepts” of Iranian missiles and drones targeted by Israel from a base in Jordan, but relations between Paris and Tel Aviv have worsened by the launch of the exclusion of humanitarian aid in the strip of Gaza.

From Greenland today’s visit, the French president rejected the idea that Russian President Vladimir Putin will play a mediating role in the conflict between Israel and Iran.

US President Donald Trump said today that he was “open” to his Russian counterpart to play a mediating role in the conflict between the two countries of sworn enemies in the Middle East.

“I do not believe that Russia, which is currently involved in a high -intensity conflict and has decided not to respect the United Nations map for several years, can be a mediator in any way,” the French president said.

During his visit to Greenland, Macron expressed his support in the autonomous area and a component country of the kingdom of Denmark, saying that the Arctic is not for sale and will not be occupied amid Donald Trump’s threats that he will do just that.

Macron said that Greenland is threatened by “predatory ambition” and this situation should be awakened by all Europeans.
