Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned residents of the city of Gaza to move away immediately, just hours after Israel announced that it would intensify air bombings in the Palestinian enclave.

“I tell the residents of Gaza, listen carefully to me: you have been warned – leave now,” he said.

Netanyahu added that Israeli forces are “organized and concentrated” around the city of Gaza for a large land maneuver.

Netanyahu said the Israeli forces have destroyed “50 terrorist towers” over the last two days, stressing that this is the “only preamble” of the operation to occupy Gaza Polis.

In a video message from the Israeli Air Force Business Center in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu pledged that all the “nests of terrorism” would be destroyed.

“I promised a few days ago that we would destroy the terrorist towers of Gaza. That’s exactly what we do. In the last two days, 50 such towers were leveled by the Air Force. And all this is just an introduction, a preamble, to the big business that is coming, the land advance of our forces, which are already concentrating in the city of Gaza, “he said.
