The Lower House of the Spanish Parliament put in the drawer drawer that would reduce by 2-1/2 hours per week working hours, making another blow to the Socialist fragile minority government, which is struggling to pass through a fragmented parliament.
In the vote that took place late yesterday, Wednesday, in the evening, opposition MPs united with the Regional Catalan Party Junts against the bill supported by Labor Minister Yolanda Diath and the main labor unions, preventing his debate.
Opponents of the bill have argued that small businesses and farmers will not be able to bear the highest costs that this policy will cause, resulting in job losses and the welfare state.
However, Diath said that it would again introduce this measure, which reduces the weekly working hours to 37-1/2 out of 40 today – half an hour less a day – and described Junts’ veto as “incomprehensible”.
Junts, a party that is considered a world -friendly party and seeking to seize Catalonia from Spain, but sometimes supports the central government, joined the Conservative People’s Party and the far -right Vox forming a majority of 178 to 170.
