Two Russian soldiers lost their livesand 28 were taken to hospital when Kharkiv residents gave them poisoned pies, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, referring to “treatment”.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense states that the Ukrainians “are resisting the occupiers by all available means » and claims that the soldiers who fell victim to the poisoned pies belong to the 3rd Russian Division.
The ministry also announced that others 500 Russian soldiers were taken to hospital with “serious alcohol poisoning of unknown origin”.
The European Union has meanwhile blamed Russian military forces for the committing atrocities in the Kiev region, after the statement of the mayor of the city of Bukha that 300 residents of the city, were killed during the Russian occupation that lasted for a month.
“In a state of shock from the news of the atrocities by the Russian forces, the EU is helping Ukraine to document the commission of war crimes,” he said in a Twitter post. EU High Representative Josep Borrelladding that all cases need to be investigated by the International Criminal Court.
