Four European companies have already paid for imports of Russian energy in rubles as requested by Vladimir Putin, while a total of ten European companies have already opened accounts in Gazprombank to follow the same path, as noted in a publication of the agency Bloomberg citing sources located near the Russian energy giant Gazprom.
According to the report, even if the other buyers reject the terms of the Kremlin, it is not expected to proceed with more supply interruptions, after the interruption of the flow of gas to the Poland and Bulgaria on Wednesday, until the second fortnight of May, when the next payments expire.
Mega scoop by Bloomberg just out.

Supplies in Poland and Bulgaria were suspended after rejecting Gazprom’s proposed mechanism for payments in rubles, which according to his colossus natural gas does not violate European Union sanctions. Russia supplies gas through pipelines to 23 European countries.
It is recalled that according to the EU, what Moscow had asked for, that is, to start making payments in rubles through Gazprombank, would be a violation of the framework of sanctions already imposed on Russia by Europeans for the war in Ukraine.
At the briefing of the Commission the representatives said that the president Ursula von der Leyen deals exclusively with this issue and will probably make an announcement later.
