Chinese tennis champion Peng Shui, who has recently been the subject of international concern, attended a tennis tournament in Beijing today, according to official photos and videos released from the tournament organized by the China Open.
Peng appears among the guests of the “Fila Kids Junior Tennis Challenger Finals”, dressed in a dark blue jacket and white pants, according to the photos published on the official page of the tournament.

The former double number in the world had not appeared or spoken since she reported on Chinese social media on November 2 that former Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Gaoli had forced her to have sex.

World tennis players have expressed concern, with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) threatening to withdraw the tournaments from China. The United States and Britain have requested information on the whereabouts of the tennis player.
The photos and video of Pego Swai appearing today remain “inadequate” and do not address the WTA’s concerns, a spokeswoman told Reuters.
Peng Shui also visited a popular restaurant in central Beijing last night. Global Times editor-in-chief Hu Shijin posted a video of the exit, which was confirmed by a restaurant manager to Reuters on Sunday.
Seven people, including Peg Shuai, were at the Sichuanese restaurant, manager Zhu Hongmei said, adding that they ate in a private room with the restaurant owner.
Searches in the name of Peng Shui on the popular Chinese microblog Weibo continued to yield no results today and discussions about her initial categories have been blocked on social media.
