The long-awaited program of RIS for Replacement of old energy-intensive electrical appliances will begin on June 24 when the relevant platform is expected to open. The subsidy concerns air conditioners, freezers and refrigerators, while the number of beneficiaries will approach 220,000 and the total budget of the program is 150 million euros.

When the examination of the applications is completed, at mid-Julythe beneficiaries will be able to print by computer the coupon which they will present to the merchant to calculate the discount on the purchase price.
The merchant has the obligation, when delivering the new devices, to receive the old ones, which must be functional, in order to deliver them for recycling.
